Who is responsible?

What data we process

Data you provide yourself: when you contact us by email, phone or a form, we process the data you share, such as your name, company name, email address, phone number and the content of your message.

Data collected automatically: with your consent, we collect anonymised usage statistics through Google Analytics (such as pages visited, device type and your approximate location). No cookies are placed for this purpose without your consent.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit our website. We use two types of cookies:

Necessary cookies — required for the website to function and to remember your cookie preference. No consent is required for these.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — to measure how our website is used and to improve it. These are only placed after you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. Until then, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode without data being linked to your device.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies and stored preferences via your browser settings. The cookie banner will then reappear on your next visit.

Legal basis and purposes

We process your data on the following GDPR legal bases: your consent (for analytics cookies), the performance of or preparation for a contract (when you make a request or ask for a quote), and our legitimate interest (to respond to your message and improve our services).

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your data. For website analytics we use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and have enabled IP anonymisation. Google may process data on servers outside the EU; the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses apply as a safeguard.

Retention periods

We do not keep your data longer than necessary. We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and to comply with any legal obligations. Analytics data in Google Analytics is automatically deleted after a maximum of 14 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. You may also object to processing, withdraw your consent and request a transfer of your data. To do so, send a request to info@gridservices.nl. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

We may update this privacy and cookie statement from time to time. You will always find the most current version on this page.
